(SOLD) DPM FRONT STREET BUILDING – ELMO HOTEL
Here is a HO Scale DPM Front Street Kit converted to the Elmo Hotel and lit with 12VDC LED lights …
Not a lot of modification on this one, pretty much a straight forward build with some custom decals and a few custom add on parts like A/C units and Electrical boxes … this one will be available in the store.
(SOLD) MID CENTURY CITY BLOCK – SUPER DETAILED w/ CUSTOM DECALS AND DETAIL PARTS
Well here is my latest diorama, build with Downtown Deco Coming and Going Kit with some boneyard parts to make the diner. Also assorted other parts, many hand made detail parts and custom decal graphics. Lighted by 12VDC LED lighting and the custom made decals are available in my store (well most are some I made for just this build). The window treatments decals are also available in acetate and clear or white decals. These took a while to build, but I admit I’d work on it awhile and quit and start and quit.
The cars (except for the abandon panel truck) are not included in this diorama, but are available if you want them.
I’ll be adding more pix and info to this post later as I get more time.
DAVE’S DECALS AND DOWNTOWN DECO’S JOINT PROJECT “Worst Block in Town”
It brings me great happiness to announce that I, your humble decal maker will have a custom decal set in Downtown Deco’s latest release “Worst Block in Town” (TBA) from the header of “Pepprock Products” to the many signs and ghost images, all will be included in this up coming kit. This is a full half sheet (5.5″ X 8″) of decals.
While this might be the “Worst Block in Town” but it is one of the best kits and set of decals going out there in the world … this HO Scale (1:87) kit has huge ghost decal for the side to be easily seen even at a distance, plus several other decals to liven up your building including the Pepprock Product headers. As you know anyone that has been into scale structure modeling even for a little while knows of the fine work Randy Pepprock does with Downtown Deco. I have personally built several of his kits and I have really enjoyed them as the hydrocal kits provides a workable dimension not available in plastics from the ability to carve in extra detail and hydrocal takes paint (prime it first) better than plastic or wood any day of the week. If you have never worked in hydrocal, try it and don’t let it scare you, because if I can do it so can you.
Anyway

The “Worst Block in Town” inches closer to release. You get the couch, but not the car. : ) This kit will feature a set of signs from Dave’s Decals. HO Scale. Please do me a huge favor & share with your model RR friends.
So do Randy a huge favor and share this with your friend from RR folks to collectors of Scale Buildings.
As of this date (9-30-15) a release date and price point has not been announced, but these will be available exclusively from Downtown Deco and not available in stores at this time. So make sure you get yours as soon as they are available … tell him Dave sent you!
NEW MULTI LAYER GHOST SET
(FOR SALE) URBAN BUILD FOR THE LOW RENT DISTRICT
This is a HO SCALE City Classics Grant Hotel Building with DPM modular add on parts to make Vinnie’s Vinyl, assorted people from various sources and a old car that I forget where came from painted up to look a little bit in need of repair. But if you remember urban environments in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s they were a little dirty and rough, lots of paper advertising and graffiti adorned the walls of many buildings in the shadier parts of town … this is lit interior with 12 VDC (9-14VDC for you techie folks) and the “neon” is modified and striped EL wire that I had to un-wire and rewire.
Painted and weathers and all of the decals are obviously mine, most of these are custom made and sized just for this build but available if you want them.
Footprint area is 8″ wide by 10″ deep and appox 9.5″ tall.
This is for sale if interested contact me for pricing details.
