(SOLD) MIDDLETON MILLS FROM RDA

First let me say this kit wasn’t to bad, RDA especially the older one are know for their problems … as for this kit the windows didn’t fit properly and every opening had to be trimmed to get them to fit. the draft edges from the molding were quite large and I used a belt sanding to take it down or I’d likely still be sanding them down today. Additionally there was some, but not a lot of flash that needed trimming.

The directions? What direction? None to speak of but it did come with 2 pages of info on Middleton Mills and a few tips and a link to a webpage that no longer exist, but no directions. Now granted this kit is not rocket science and you really don’t need them for the main structure, but it came with an extra sprue of add on and half of them made no sense at all .. I still have a few on there that I don’t know what they are for. (might try to get a pic up later.)

Anyway I’m giving it about 2.5 out of 5 stars – it could be better, it could be worse.

As far as this build goes I’m not sure if this one is finished yet … I think it still needs a little more done.
